Nachdem die Civ3-[[Versionen_(Civ3)|Version]] der PC Games sich nicht mit der ''Conquests''-CD betreiben ließ, war PC-Games mehr oder weniger gezwungen, einen offiziellen NoCD-Patch anzubieten, damit das Spiel auch mit der Erweiterung nutzbar wurde. Zur Freude vieler Spieler war dieser Patch nicht nur auf die PC-Games-Version anwendbar, sondern funktioniert mit allen C3C-Versionen, die zuvor auf v1.22 aktualisiert wurden.<br />
